BIBLE STUDY and SMALL GROUPS
Gathering for corporate Sunday morning worship is such an important part of the life of a Christian believer. However, it is often helpful to have other "touchpoints" during the week where a disciple of Jesus can continue to grow in knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. Small groups and Bible study groups are one of these "touchpoints".

Ladies Bible Study ~ Tuesdays at 10 am (beginning August 27th) in the Education Building
All ladies are invited to join us as we dive deep into a study of God’s Word! The gospel of Luke is known for its orderliness and its attention to detail, giving us a deep & wide view of the life and ministry of Jesus. Our study method will be simple ~ read the Word and ask God to reveal Himself through it. In a change of pace, there will be no book with this study. 😊 We will have assigned passages of scripture each week and we will ask/answer 3 questions: what does this passage tell me about God, what does this passage tell me about others, what does this passage instruct me to be/do for the kingdom of God? |
Prayer Small Group ~ 1st Sundays only at 4 pm in the Sanctuary
This group provides a space for everyone to focus on the discipline of prayer! We start with a short devotion on one aspect or focus of prayer, and then we spend the remainder of the hour seeking the Lord in prayer. We pray for personal concerns, community or global needs, wisdom, comfort, discernment, healing... whatever the Lord lays on our hearts. You are welcome to come and pray alone or with the group, aloud or silently, for the whole hour or even 10 minutes. |
